Marc struggles with the final editing of his new film, but his producers disagree with his vision and want to take the film away from him. Determined to finish editing it, Marc flees with the twisted material and three collaborators to his elderly aunt's house in the Cevennes countryside. He does not make things easy for his crew. He often changes his mind, sometimes freaks out and comes up with the strangest angles. On top of that, he got sidetracked by writing the book Le livre des solutions with which he tries to offer simple solutions to all of life's problems.
