In her debut film, awarded at the Locarno and Leiden film festivals, Canadian-Hungarian filmmaker Sophy Romvari casts a kaleidoscopic gaze full of tenderness upon the childhood of eight-year-old Sasha. In the late 1990s, she moves with her Canadian-Hungarian family to idyllic Vancouver Island.
