Set in a conservative community in the Danube Delta, Three Kilometres To The End Of The World follows a gay teenager’s journey of self-discovery, which clashes with the traditional values ​​of his parents and neighbors.

In a Romanian village, Dragoi, a devout family man, owes a significant debt to local gangster Zentov. When his 17-year-old son Adi is brutally attacked, Dragoi assumes it is a warning to settle his debt. However, he discovers a much more poignant truth: Adi was not targeted because of his father’s debts, but because of his sexual orientation. A gripping film that exposes the consequences of homophobia and the hardship of fighting for justice while everyone else looks the other way.
